Hej, det var en riktig svensk Midsommar 1998!
Due to the great effort of our fantastic organizing committee, Sasha
and Kristin, Midsommar 1998 was a great success in Kapellskär east
of Norrtälje. Join us and have fun!
All started with putting up the traditional Midsommarstång.
Luckily enough we had all the equipment for the psycho killer with us so
this task did turn out to be no problem although nobody knows what happened
with the 10x8m white sheet maybe we missed the main event.
Others
were ambitious with less dangerous things while a great memory of our parents
flower power time appeared.
The preparations turned out to be an exhausting task and we were lucky
enough to have some (liquid) food with us.
Now
we had the best conditions for the main event: There were flowers, a Midsommarstång
and we were drunken (a little bit!? at least).
Or
maybe the previous one was not the event it was all about. Here we have
two psycho killers who might know better than I do.
Later
on the great duo Leo and Staffan played the lumberjack but some environmentalist
neighbours complained so we took them by our hands and led them through
the streets of London.
The
day after or better the day in-between Philippe had to cool down from all
the naked Jacksons in the sauna.
After
cooling down he was calm enough to rebel against the laws of physics.
Leo(nardo)
who makes music with everything which does not have a chance to defend
itself, this time it was a nose flute.
And
as everything was so very Swedish the whole bus had to listen to "Du gamla
du fria"
That's all folks!
But for those who do not get a clue what was going on these days, here
is (not anymore)
Philippe's abstract so you can find your way around in the world of
mystic traditions.
For everyone who wonders what we were singing all the time here is Staffan's
songbook and especially for Kristin, the marvelous assistant guitar
player, he included the cords.
